This cake is being read by the two best friends who were sharing a combined birthday party. I was asked to put six characters around the book to symbolise their age. I was also asked to make the pages “active” to symbolise how fast the years had gone. I’m not to sure if I captured this last bit but I have to say, this is, if not, my favourite all time cake to have made :)
