Standing at 90cm tall this proud pearly peacock was made from modelling chocolate and fondant with flower paste hand painted tail feathers.
This was approx 160 from start to finish and was made for Cake International decorative exhibit category.
Was very pleased to be awarded a Silver for this one :)
A very scary journey early in the morning with his head only clearing the car boot with 1cm to spare!
Heart in my mouth all the way to Birmingham but was well worth it!
Not sure I’ll make something that large again though.
