There are sooooo many cute Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cakes out there and when a new client called me and she said it was her son’s 1st birthday, we started talking about what she was interested in and I knew exactly that this is the style that would make her son’s 1st birthday party special…

Not sure if any of you have ever had such a situation, but…I was super nervous because I had taken the day off from work to work on this cake and just as I woke up I lost electricity. I wanted to die!!! It wasn’t until 5:00 pm that it came… needless to say I was about to have a heart attack LOL LOL LOL I live in a very humid area so working with fondant would have been disastrous without air conditioning…

I definitely would love to make this cake again… Learned a lot!!!
