Frost a 2-layer 10-in round w/ white buttercream until smooth. Take princess pink color liquid gel and squirt a few dots on top and continue to blend on top and pull color to sides w/ what is left on spatula.. gives a 2-tone look…
bake a small 1/2 ball pan and after cooler or freezer to firm up cake~ trip bottom of cake around like a pumpkin shape and use excess from bottom to glue around top w/ icing to make more like pumpkin shape.
Use #10 or #12 pastry bag w/ coupler and pipe from bottom up sides to center to make outer skin shape of pumpkin.
Take damp finger dipped in warm water to smooth top of pumpkin where you will pipe #5 around motion to top of stem. Pipe 2-tones of green vines and leaves around stem and leaves around base of pumpkin w/ vines.
Mark rectangle large enough to fit name in front of bottom tier and use white BC #10 or #12 to fill in, starting from outer edge to center.. smooth w/ small icing spatula.
Do #4 outer scallop or beaded boarder around sign w/ name. Pipe letters w. #4 and then do beaded boarder up and down letters. Do #6 beaded boarder around base of bottom tier.
Make #4 green circle around sides and fill in w/ #5 orange and darker pink dots on sides and top edge of cake.
