This was a joint effort between my daughter and me since the cake was for my husband’s Birthday. It is always difficult for us to choose a design for him, but since he likes all kinds of means of transport, this year we decided on a train cake. The leaves for the trees were the most difficult part. First I tried the smallest rose leaf petal I had but that looked too big. Finally I used the petals of a daisy cutter, which I cut separately and attached to the trees.
