Birthday sugar skull cake

I made this for my daughter, she loves the dayof the dead sugar skull designs and wanted a surprise for her birthday cake.
I wanted to make it bright though so used the brightest colours I had.
I wanted to try hand painting in a tattoo style so painted a rose on the back of the skull. I enjoyed doing it but I certainly have room for improvement.
