Hand painted Buck cake

My first ever hand painted cake. I used paint brushes and gel food coloring. (no airbrushing). I did the painting in layers to give it depth, then I piped the front grasses on to push it back even further to make it appear almost 3D like. :-)

very nice, i can just imagine how much time it took to paint all those details, great job! i’m still a big coward when it comes to painting on a cake…. oh well, someday ;)

Thank you. I was scared when I did it. Just hold your breath and dive in. That’s what I did. ;-)
