This was actually a birthday cake! The party theme was Christmas in July, with partygoers wearing a range of cute but kind of daggy Christmas jumpers (since here in sunny Queensland, Australia, we don’t often get to wear jumpers at Christmas!) The cake was 12" diameter and 4" tall, and weighed a ton. I boxed it up with a clear lid, as a guest was taking it on board a plane to get to the party, held at Airlie Beach. Lucky I added the clear lid – I heard it distracted airline staff from the size and weight and it was transported on the laps of the guests!!
