Transformers – Autobot BumbleBee for Mateo-Bot!

I normally don’t put non-edible toppers or plastic dolls on my cakes…but in this particular case young Mateo-Bot (the birthday boy) is getting an Optimus Prime Transformer toy for his birthday and his mum wanted to present it to him on his cake. So the cake is made in the colours of Optimus Prime, which is blue and red. I however did not have an Optimus Prime and for the sake of the photo I have used my son’s Bumble Bee Transformer as the topper!
It felt a bit weird giving away the cake without a topper – looked incomplete – but I just had to get it in my head that just as I make a lot of toppers for people to put on their own made cakes…similarly this was a cake where the customer had their own topper!
