I made this cake to celebrate the life of my mother-in-law who passed away last Christmas Day. She would have turned 90!
I love making frilled cakes and my original inspiration for frills came from seeing Maggie Austin’s cakes!

It is gorgeous! I’m sure your Mother in law would have loved it! It certainly does capture the feeling of Autumn! I love the frills!!
