Weddding cake! Specific instructions for the Kadazan bride to be wearing the traditional Kadazan outfit and the Chinese Groom to be wearing a smart mandarin collar outfit with golden dragons. The traditional Kadazan costume is black velvet with gold trimmings and silver (dollar) belt). A peacock sits beside the blushing bride. It was a red velvet and cream cheese two tier cake. The daisies are made with fondant as I was told that these are the bride’s favourite flowers.

It was an order which was definitely trying as the mixer broke down and I arrived half an hour later than expected at the wedding reception at Mariott. The hotel staff was waiting at the lobby with a push trolly to receive the cake. Very sorry to the bride, groom and also the head bridesmaid for the worry.
