Sugar Tea Cup & Saucer with fondant Macaron ~

This is my first tea cup and saucer…and macaron :) …so much fun! Hand painted roses and hand made macarons! The cup is 2.5inches tall.

I think this is usually done with the fondant inside a cup – I tried that at first but it didn’t work. After much searching I found a bottle cover that had the exact shape I was looking for and I molded the fondant OVER the cover instead of in it. The saucer I molded on a glass cover lid. Some of my pottery classes came in handy!
