I loved making all the details on this cake, especially the bamboo. The client definitely wanted the characters to be sitting in deckchairs but after trying, and failing, to make the deckchairs freehand, I eventually used a Jem deckchair cutter. They were so cute!!
The cake is vanilla sponge with layers of vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam.
