Cake for my friend with a few of her favourite things, scarf, Sorting Hat and Golden Snitch from Harry Potter, an alien in a baseball cap with an iPhone, another larger iPhone with apps showing and cinema tickets all set out on a book-shaped cake.

iPhone made by covering a Nice biscuit in black fondant – the apps were a bit fiddly, each was less than a centimetre across – painted with thinned down gel pastes. There was another teeny-weeny iPhone in the Alien’s hand – no apps on that one, I’d have gone blind trying to attempt it!
