This was my first ever topsy turvy and it was almost a disaster. My hubby hit a big bump in the parking lot when delivering the cake and about an inch of the bottom tier was smushed on one side. It was well supported so fortunately it did not collapse. And luckily they were understanding and we were able to deliver it a few hours late so that it could be repaired. I was able to save it by taking down the tiers, shaving off the bottom inch and restacking the entire thing. I had extra flowers made thankfully that were used to hide some gaping that resulted. This pic is before the mishap. It ended up shorter but I did not have time to take an after pic of it. Learned a lot from this one though. TFL.
