This was the cake I made for my son oakleys 5th birthday. He loves the film paranorman and all things zombie so this was a massive hit with him. I loved making all the zombies, they r my favourite things to make, I think it’s their teeth that make me love creating them! We are all Halloween mad in our house so I guess that helps with the creations! These little critters were all hand painted and dusted to create the “dead look”. I didn’t have very long to make this cake as I had 4 other big orders the same week but it turned out ok in the end, just wish I’d have had more time to perfect Norman and his friend. But Oakley loved it and enjoyed eating the zombies heads! :) simple things! Lol :)
The pictures were taken by a photographer friend who insisted on doing the photos outside to create the paranorman feel! Lol! I did hyperventilate slightly as I had visions of it being dropped or rained on but thankfully it survived! :)
