I made this cake for a friend who’s partner is In The parachute regiment. I was asked to make a ‘green toy soldier’ gliding through the clouds. The parachute proved the hardest part as it had to fit into such a small backpack! Everything was edible except the parachute (I had tried everything possible to get it to be edible from petal paste to candy floss but nothing worked how I wanted it to so I had to improvise!) but they loved it so it was a success I. The end!
