This cake was a mix of ideas and tastes. The recipients (yes, there were two of them – brother and sister) had asked me to make one cake that was colourful and included their favourite chocolate – Kit-Kat. The result was a two tier cake covered with colourful hundreds-and-thousands sprinkles, surrounded by Kit-Kat sticks. The surprise came at the time of cutting the cake, as it revealed four layers of white chocolate cake in bright colours.
