My all time favourite books is the Hobbit & Lord of the Rings & I made this for a Huge Lord of the Rings Fan that said to me just do want you want “Free Reign”….YAY!!!! I do love it when clients say that especially when it’s something you love so much…..as I live quite close to Hobbiton so decided to based the cake on the Movie Set of Bilbo’s House in the Shire….everything is edible including the sugar replica of Bilbo’s Sting Sword & was Gluten free other than the Oreo dirt in the garden…ended up a big cake sitting on a 20″ × 20″ Board so I had to enlist the help of my husband Craig to help with the delivery as I could no longer lift it….ooopps…..which was unfortunately when the photos weren’t he best as I couldn’t move cake to a better spot for lightening :-)

wow Jo this cake is soooo amazing I love all the details you did, the sword is exactly right you nailed that, the little gardens with the vegies OMG CUTE, the texture all over it amazing and your amazing tree, those bricks!! fantastic what a lot of work and so well paid off its perfect <3

Thanks Robin & Mel, I had so much fun making all the little details one of my favourite was my silverbeet in the garden…lol isn’t it funny the weird little bit we like on our cakes
