This was done for a little boy turning 1. His nick name is gator so naturally Mom wanted to do an alligator cake! This is a pound cake with buttercream filling and was my first time covering a 3D cake that had so many angles. I had a hard time with it! I just couldn’t seem to cover it in once piece and once I covered it in separate pieces I couldn’t hide the seams! If anyone has any tips or advise on how to hide those seems, I’d love to hear them!
