This weekend Tupperware celebrated it’s 40th Birthday in New Zealand.
When I was first asked to make this cake I knew how important it was to have something that represented Tupperware throughout the years. The wonderlier bowl has been a constant item in the Tupperware catalogue for decades and so I felt that it would be a good representation of this long lasting brand.
My original design had more items but I settled on the ones you see here to represent some of the new Tupperware range and a couple of oldies too.
The cake stood at 70cm once assembled and is the tallest tiered cake I have ever made. I was rather concerned about the support of each cake but used very large dowels on the bottom two tiers and had them set the night before delivery. The other two tiers were assembled at the venue, oh and I had to stand on a chair to stack them,

Oh what an amazing design! LOVE it! I still have that toy on the left from when my children were little. My grandchildren now play with it. You captured everything perfectly!
