A last minute request for a jungle baby shower cake finally allowed me to cross another thing of my bucket list of cakes I would like to make. This is a 6"/8" vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream covered in MMF. The decorations were made from fondant as well. I am still learning as I go along, so this was my first time using wire and I loved how the tree leaves came out with them. Inspiration for this cake came from a number of different sources I have seen over the past several months, but the monkey topper was based on a wonderful cake by Hot Momma’s Cakes.
