My friends daughter had spent 8 months in France as an exchange student, and her return was at the same time as her 16th birthday.
Her mum wanted to have a cake for her sweet sixteen/welcome home party, that was inspired by her travels and this very personal cake was created.
We decided on the colours of the French Flag, a model of the birthday girl, and some inspirational wording based on art work she had created at home.
