Made these for the sole purpose of attempting Oreo buttercream and thankfully (or not-so-thankfully according to my co-workers!) it came out beautifully! Chocolate espresso cupcakes with oreo buttercream frosting and a mini oreo topper! (I simply added a sleeve of oreos that’d been crushed in my food processor to my traditional vanilla buttercream recipe for my trial).
