So, the lovely Nina at Make Pretty Cakes suggested I put this cake up on Cakes Decor. One of the things Nina has started is a weekly tutorial show out on Facebook on her tutorial page and last week was a tutorial for a ballerina. But I never like doing something just “as is,” so I changed it up and made my ballerina as a minion on stilts. It has the same features as the tutorial, with one lifted leg, a tutu, and a polytail, but I added stilts as legs with duct-taped ballet slippers. Because who doesn’t love minions? And I couldn’t forget to add the new purple minion too, why not a dancing ballerina minion on the head of a purple minion.
