My daughter Maddy created this cake for a 13 year young lady who is active in basketball and soccer. She was inspired by Lesley of the Royal Bakery and even did a full graphic design before the cake was started. The popcorn was time-consuming but the balls were very difficult. Since the birthday girl is transitioning from tom boy to girly, girl, she decided to sparkle the lines of the ball patterns for an added touch of detail.
