My client said that she wanted a 50th birthday cake and that she liked Hoops & Yoyo AND Angry Birds, I decided to use Richard Ruskell’s Topsy Turvy Cake Construction technique to make a cake that looked like the Angry Birds were attacking the cake and that Hoops & Yoyo (& Piddles) were under fire as well.

His technique worked so well that I was able to transport the cake in one piece over 40 miles to the client’s home.

I LOVE it when a client gives me creative liberty! This was a VERY FUN cake to make!
