This is a floral arrangement that I did for a competition. I received a silver award. All the flowers and leaves are made from cold porcelain (non edible) which is my preferred medium for flower making. They are coloured with normal sugar flower colours and the method of making them is the same as sugarpaste.

Lovely! Can you use the same tools used to work with gumpaste, or does cold porcelain require dedicated tools? Thanks.
No you don’t need separate tools for cold porcelain. I used the same tools for both although some people say a metal ball tool is better. You can also use the same dusting powders – in fact there is no difference except most cold porcelain shrinks a bit and you should spray it with a matt vanish when you have finished to stop the colours fading.
