This cake was for a deacon in my church who turned 80. Since it was a last minute order, his wife asked for just a plain sheet cake. (I think that an 80th birthday deserves something more than just a plain sheet cake.) So, I took a chance and made the number 80 instead. They both loved it. The cakes were made with 8 and 9 inch pans and an oval pan. Three different flavors, Italian cream with cream cheese filling, a pineapple cake and my signature yellow cake. Covered in buttercream flavored marshmallow fondant. Decorated with buttercream and fondant. Purchased gum paste flowers. TFL
