Sweet little Mariam wanted all her friends who came to the party to enjoy it. So the party theme was Barbie and Ben 10. Now, the dilemma was to bring together two characters who are pole opposite of each other – One the epitome of femme charm adored by millions of little girls who would rather not glance at an alien and the other – Alien bashing Ben Tennyson whose fan club goes YUCK at the sight of Barbie. This is my version of how the twain shall meet!!! Barbie is holding a Ben Ten birthday card; wearing the Omnitrix (that is the watch thingamajig which transforms Ben into hideous looking alien creatures) she has a few Ben Ten comics lying around and a colouring book to improve her drawing skills. Well the Girls loved it and the Boys… Well, they will be boys – a glance, Mmmm Ben Ten and that s that. This is another iteration of the Barbie cake that you might have seen earlier; pink gradation (Ombre) on a ruffled gown. She was so sweet during the dressing, didn’t say a word. The Ben Ten card and comics are edible print; the colouring book is hand painted.
