“Bling Drama” ~ Jimmy Choo Strapy Stiletto cake topper
I absolutely adore making shoes – this one took me about 4 hours – just to figure how to get the straps to stay up! But happy with the result in the end – this shoe is going to be a star to adorn a fine desserts ‘degustation’ menu soon!
I’ve gotta say my photography does no justice to my work!
How I did the straps:
I basically cut 2 thin strips from fondant that was heavily loaded with Tylose and then glued a thin wire between the strips, stuck them together and twisted as I wanted and then stuck on the diamante strip – then stuck it to the heel cover of the shoe. The part where the 2 straps meet in the air has another small piece of wire through them…
