A friend of mine called two weeks ago. The brides friend, who was going to provide the wedding cake, backed out two weeks before the wedding. I was totally booked this weekend, but I managed to fit them in on Friday. This cake was driven over 60 miles, stacked and then received fresh flowers.
I just can’t stand a naked cake, so I put some silk flowers on it and snapped a photo.
I got an e-mail from the bride and groom thanking me for saving the day. I’ll upload the photos of after the bride added the fresh flowers when I get them.
