My gorgeous god-son’s Naming Day cake. As it wasn’t a religious ceremony my friends didn’t want a typical white or pale blue cake with teddies on for their cake, so they decided since they got married at a zoo and Ashley’s room had a jungle theme that they’d have a jungle cake! I used google images for inspiration so I cannot give any one particular cake designer credit for this – I looked at about 50 cakes and tutorials for the animals while making this :-) It is by far my favourite cake I’ve ever made! Ashley has a ‘Sophie le giraffe’ as one of his favourite toys so the giraffe on the top was a must. As they cut the cake, Ashley reached and grabbed the giraffe and put it straight in his mouth – which I loved!! That’s exactly what should be done with a cake like this!
