This cake was for my an who is an avid skylanders fan. His favourite being the tree Rex.

I made the cake quite tall (taller than the portal of power actually is) so there was plenty of cake. I used satin ice for most the covering. I hand carved the skylander markings, but used an embossing mat for the stone work then used black dusting powder to enhance the detail.
