This is a recent birthday cake that i did for a customer. They simply told me they wanted the cake to be movie themed and Brave themed as well so this is my own design that I came up with. Did I mention this cake is completely edible?! The characters are made of gum paste/ fondant, the snap shots on the roll of film are printed on rice paper, and even the popcorn is made of fondant. I also incorporated a bow and arrow and the three bears to further emphasize the presence of Brave in the cake. Both tiers were “Goin’ Bananas” flavor which is banana cake soaked in a cinnamon rum simple syrup filled with brown sugar buttercream.
