My Little Pony 3D Cake ~ “Sweetie Belle”
This My Little Pony cake was anything but little!!!! She stood 14 inches high and weighed about 12kg! ‘Sweetie Belle’ is actually a unicorn and has a horn…but I have done her without a horn.
My first try at doing a background – tutorial kindly provided by Emily Made a Wish Cakes.
My most difficult task was covering the body with fondant. This was a challenging cake overall – the lady who ordered this cake is a return client and I have made several cakes for her – she challenges me everytime!!!! :)
This was the time I really, really wished I had a Air Brush!!!!! :( There is still so much to learn out there – I am learning everyday!
My first try also with using RKT in a cake – the head is RKT (Rice Krispie Treats) – If you would like the link to making the RKTs head to http://www.ricekrispies.com/en_US/recipes/the-original-treats.html#/en_US/recipes/the-original-treats
Thanks for looking.

It turned out so lovely Mel! You wouldn’t know that you had difficulty applying the fondant to the body because it looks flawless! I love how you did the background too!
