70th birthday cupcakes for a former dressmaker, complete with hand modelled edible cotton reels, tape measure, pearl-headed pins, pin cushion, thimble, fabric swatches and needles. (Discovered just how tricky it is to make sugar needles and then thread them with sugar thread!)

Thank you! I made the cotton reels by making a cylinder of gumpaste and then wrapping this in a rectangular, scored, piece of gumpaste paste.
