This was a love/hate cake. I really like the pattern on the bottom tier, but I did not think I would ever finish it. The rose on top is what I call my “Saucer Rose.” I love making it because I can make a complete Rose at one time without waiting for it to dry. It is made almost completely backwards from a regular gumpaste Rose on a saucer.
