This cake came with several instructions and not much imaginative input from my side. According to Chinese culture – there should be no sharp corners….as this is not the natural way that ‘Chi’ or ‘Qi’ or Energy/Life Force flows. So no pressure of sharp edges on the cake as they wanted the edges rounded. Even the blocks – I was asked to make them rounded. The writing is in red as that is a lucky colour! All the elements were specifically requested – I tried not to over-crowd the cake – but I’m quite happy with the way it turned out.
