Asked to do a cake for a Ballet School who were having a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for the end of their exams. Also, the London Theatre of Dance is performing Alice in Wonderland and some of the children had tickets to see it, hence the theme, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

I decided to go with a vintage look and keep everything in pink and white rather than introduce all different colours – I wanted my cake to look girly yet subtle.

Everything is edible. Cup, saucer, bow, caterpillar, toadstools, watch, ballet slippers and roses.
