This was my very first time making a shoe cake topper, & it was so much fun! The cake is lemon pound cake with a strawberry buttercream filling, with buttercream icing & fondant decor. The shoe is made of gum paste, & is all edible except for the rhinestones. I made the ‘label’ in the shoe as if Sybil is the designer, which was fun & different, instead of the usual ‘congratulations’ message for graduations.
