This was my best friend’s mum’s birthday cake from earlier this year. We didn’t tell her she was getting a cake, so after we went out for dinner and popped back to their place for coffee we snuck the cake onto the bench behind her when she was on the phone. When she turned around she was so surprised she almost cried! (reactions like that are why I do this! Love it.)
