I have spent a bit of time working on my ranunculus and have changed the way I have made them a few times and now am quote happy with them. I ended up buying some ranunculus from the florists just to dissect and see the petal formation. For these gumpaste flowers I ended up using a coloured oatmeal to create the textured center. The most vital bit of information I can give you is, roll your paste, fine, very, very fine. It is the essential part of making thee flowers look soft and life like! Enjoy x
