One of my favourite cakes to date. Ordered by a lady for her mum’s 60th birthday. The only instruction she gave me was that she wanted a cake with flowers and what her budget was :) Now, that’s my perfect type of order – just mopves your imagination and do what you feel is best.
This was my first serious attempt on hand made flowers – made only roses before – and here we have: roses, gerberas, fresias, daffodils and my favourite Lisianthus.
The cake (flower box) was a almond and raspberry madeira with pink champagne infused buttercream and the rose cupcakes on top were white chocolate and raspberries. Everything made in a cream/gold tone for this special birthday… And I had my first customer ever bursting to tears when she came to collect :)
