This was a wedding cake made inspired by the old saying Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. I loved the idea of cascading the new rosebuds from the top and having them trickle down larger and larger. The something old were pearls around each layer, something new were all the " new" rosebuds, something borrowed was the the “lace” hand piped details and something blue was well…. The blue fondant. This was a gorgeous banana cake with passion fruit buttercream inside. YUM!
