Hummingbird cake for my mothers 80th Birthday party. I molded the hummingbird around a mini lollipop and used a mixture of gum paste and fondant and then hand painted (no air brush in my barrel of tools yet). The cake is a chocolate and strawberry layer, and two chocolate layers. I used a fondant mat to get the impressions of the flowers and then hand painted. The top layer grass is green candy melts I shaped.
