This cake was created for a sweet little girl turning 1 – the Daddy’s Little Girl theme was just too cute! The pink camo was created with a base pink fondant then exacto knifing random blobs of black, green and dark pink from very thin fondant and pasting them on. Next time I’d like to try and figure out an easier way! The deer was modelled from gumpaste.

The last pic shows how I dried the fondant bow. These are 2 pieces of drinking water pipe that my hubby cut down and neatened up for me. Cut with a nice flat bottom they were able to stand up and support the bow in its shape while it dried.
