My finished parrot cake. This is vanilla cake touted and buttercream iced. The parrot is RKT then modeled out of a 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste then hand painted. The sign was inspired by a margaritaville sign. I decided to keep it simple so that the other decor wouldn’t take away from the parrot.
