The Hobbit themed Giant Cupcake

Candy Melt base (white with a few dark brown), marbled grey stones, Hobbit style writing in edible pen, painted green door and gold door knob, grass nozzle for grass and tree top, painted wooden details, ivy leaves, small yellow flowers, chimney with painted details.

I knew absolutely nothing about The Hobbit before this cake! For research I asked my daughter’s friends & my cake friends for advice about creating a Hobbit themed giant cupcake. HUGE thank you to them for guiding this design. I wouldn’t have done it without them!

So glad I took on something outside of my comfort zone; I thoroughly enjoyed making this one!
