I was approached by a friend of a friend and asked to create a Garden themed 50th birthday cake for an avid gardener. They showed me the design they wanted and left the rest to me. The cake is one layer chocolate, one layer french vanilla, iced and filled with butter cream icing and covered in MMF.

It had been awhile since I got to make flowers for a cake so I was very excited to pull out the gum paste and mix up some royal icing and start playing again!! All decorations on the cake are handmade, hand cut etc.
